Forty something years later revolutionary musical "Hair" returned to New York where it was premiered on October 17, 1967. On Saturday matinee on February 2010 the theater is still full and the audience ( every age group is represented starting with young kids) very excited. In a tradition of great Broadway performances all cast (Gavin Creel as Claude, Will Swenson as Berger) is fantastic and they deserved as well as a director Diane Paulus and a choreographer Karole Armitage to be honored the 2009 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical. Great songs, dance, laugh and reflection on history and change.
